“WHO welcomes the historic UN Human Rights Council resolution on ‘Human rights and neglected tropical diseases‘ adopted today, which recognizes that neglected tropical diseases are not only a public health challenge, but also a significant human rights concern – they are a mirror of inequality, discrimination and social exclusion.
We stand ready to work with UN Human Rights to make sure no one’s right to health is left behind and to deliver Health For All.”
