Today she:
- Connects patients and caregivers to practical help
- Volunteers with children through the Indira Cancer Trust
- Shows up for people during long clinic days
Rushmie says –
‘Being present for someone is the greatest gift you can offer.’
Rushmie’s story is a reminder that care can take many forms and often goes far beyond medicine.
