Today at IGCS 2026, it was wonderful to finally meet Ilaria Colombo and Ainhoa Madariaga in person.
We first connected virtually through the Onco Wisdom platform by Amol Akhade. Both are doing remarkable work in advancing gynaecological oncology and contributing to the global oncology community.
It reminded me that networking is not about how many people you meet, but about the meaningful connections you build, nurture and carry forward. A virtual introduction can become a real conversation, a collaboration, a friendship – and sometimes, an opportunity to make a difference together.
