“The Sri Lanka College of Oncologists, in collaboration with the National Cancer Control Programme and Lions Club District 303 D3, conducted an awareness campaign at District General Hospital Negombo for first-contact healthcare professionals as part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
The programme focused on the early detection of childhood cancer, prompt recognition and initial management of oncological emergencies, and appropriate and timely referral for specialist care.”
