SIOG – International Society of Geriatric Oncology shared on LinkedIn:
“Kwok-Leung Cheung is SIOG’s new President.
The 2026–2028 Board of Directors was announced at yesterday’s General Assembly in Valencia, with Kah Poh (Melissa) Loh, as President-Elect, Andrew Chapman continuing as Treasurer and Grant Williams moving to Past President.
The Board brings in new members alongside familiar faces, with co-opted members leading the SIOG Consortium, the Geriatricians and SPOC Interest Groups, and SIOG’s administration. You’ll find the full Board in the graphic.
New leadership teams for two of SIOG’s Interest Groups were also announced: Kristen Haase chairs the Nursing, Allied Health and Scientists (NAHS) Interest Group, and Nicolas M. Gonzalez Senac chairs Young SIOG.
Thank you to Grant Williams for his two years as President, and a special thanks to our outgoing Board members, Martine Extermann, who also chaired the Public Policy Committee, and Fábio Gomes, who led Young SIOG as Chair.”
