Servier Pharmaceuticals shared on LinkedIn:
“This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re honored to share Payton’s story.
Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at 18 years old, Payton faced significant challenges during treatment, including delaying college and completing schoolwork from the ICU. Through it all, she remained determined to pursue her goals.
Inspired by the resilience of the children she met during her treatment journey, Payton went on to earn a master’s degree in school counseling and is committed to helping children thrive.
Her journey is a powerful reminder of the strength, perseverance, and hope demonstrated by so many young people affected by cancer.
Note: Payton is not an employee of Servier. Her story is shared for awareness purposes only.”
