”Additional tests can help your doctor better understand the cause of your symptoms and determine the appropriate care plan.
If symptoms or a medical examination indicate the need for further evaluation, your doctor may recommend:
- Reviewing your medical history and risk factors
- Checking for signs of jaundice, such as yellowing of the skin and eyes
- Imaging tests, including ultrasound or CT scans
- Blood tests, such as Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) testing
- A biopsy, if needed
Consult your doctor if you notice any concerning symptoms, as early medical evaluation can help guide the appropriate next steps.”
