“In recognition of Blood Cancer Awareness Month this July, Qatar Cancer Society, in collaboration with Qatar Red Crescent, organized an awareness event at Al Meseimeer and Al Hemaila Health Centers, targeting workers.
The event highlighted key risk factors associated with certain types of blood cancer, including exposure to radiation and chemicals such as benzene. It also raised awareness about early signs and symptoms, preventive measures, and the importance of following workplace safety practices.
To ensure clear and effective communication, the educational content was delivered in multiple languages.”
