Advancing Cancer Treatment with Therapeutic Vaccines – MSKCC
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) shared a post on X:
“Researchers at MSK continue to build upon early ideas in cancer research, breaking new ground and driving the field now known as ‘immunotherapy’ forward.
Today, one specific type of immunotherapy —therapeutic cancer vaccines — has taken center stage. Unlike traditional vaccines, which prevent disease, a cancer vaccine would actually treat the disease.
The concept is audacious. It is challenging. And it is also achievable, thanks to new technology and more support for researchers in the lab and the clinic.
Learn more from some of the MSK experts in this field, including Dr. David Scheinberg, Vinod Balachandran, Benjamin D. Greenbaum, and Eileen M O’Reilly.”
