Behind every phase 1 trial there are innumerable details: project managers, assistants, data and research coordinators, research nurses, regulatory and activation teams, schedulers, physicians, patients, family members, infusion teams, pharmacists, medical writers, contract organizations, budgets, pharmaceutical companies and many more.
Phase 1 runs on complex ‘invisible work’ but if one piece is missing everything crashes down. I wish I could convey the complexity in one post.”
