Layth Mula-Hussain: Honored to be Speaking at London Global Cancer Week 2026

Layth Mula-Hussain, Radiation Oncologist at BC Cancer, shared on LinkedIn:

“I am honored to be speaking at London Global Cancer Week 2026, contributing to an important regional discussion on ‘Transforming Cancer Care in the Eastern Mediterranean: From Fragmented Services to People-Centred Care.’

My presentation, ‘Patient-Centred Cancer Care in Challenging Settings: Early Diagnosis, Radiotherapy and Technological Innovation,’ will explore how we can bridge gaps in cancer care, improve access to essential services, and ensure that advances in oncology reach patients in underserved and conflict-affected communities.

Innovation in cancer care should not only advance technology but also advance equity.

My sincere thanks to Dr. Ibtihal Fadhil, the Eastern Mediterranean NCD Alliance, and the Gulf Federation for Cancer Control for the kind invitation and for bringing together voices committed to improving cancer care across the region.
