With this belief at the heart of its mission, Keron Development Foundation is bringing its first international gala to Paris. Keron Impact Gala / Paris 2026 – Uniting Lights for Armenia will take place on November 18, 2026, at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, bringing together friends of Armenia, philanthropists, healthcare leaders, cultural figures, business representatives, and members of the Armenian diaspora around one shared purpose: supporting Armenia’s long-term development through education, knowledge, and human capital.
This year, the main cause of the Gala is the large-scale transformation of the Yerevan State Medical University Library – a project that aims to create a modern educational, research, and collaborative environment for future doctors and healthcare professionals.
A Gala With a Purpose
Keron Impact Gala is envisioned as an annual international platform that presents the Armenia of today: modern, creative, ambitious, and deeply connected to the world. It is also a platform for turning international engagement into long-term, measurable impact.
For its inaugural edition in Paris, the Gala will focus on one of Keron Development Foundation’s flagship initiative: the renovation and modernization of the YSMU Library.
The evening will not only celebrate culture, philanthropy, and international partnership, but will also invite guests to support a project with direct relevance to the future of healthcare in Armenia and beyond.

The YSMU Library Transformation
In partnership with Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi, Keron Development Foundation is implementing the large-scale transformation of the YSMU Library – turning the current 600 sq. m. space into a 3,000 sq. m. modern Educational Hub for future doctors, researchers, faculty members, and healthcare professionals.
For more than a century, YSMU has been Armenia’s leading medical university, educating generations of physicians, researchers, dentists, pharmacists, and healthcare leaders. Today, as medical education and research continue to evolve rapidly, the university’s library is being reimagined to meet the needs of 21st-century healthcare education.
The future library will be much more than a place for books. It will become a dynamic academic ecosystem where students and faculty can study, collaborate, conduct research, access digital resources, exchange ideas, and develop the skills needed for modern medical practice.
The project includes open and closed reading halls, individual and group study areas, technology-enabled learning and research spaces, flexible zones for lectures and workshops, improved accessibility, modern furniture and equipment, digital educational resources, and a professional library management system.
Once completed, the renovated YSMU Library is expected to become one of the most advanced academic medical education spaces in the region.
