International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) shared on LinkedIn:
“Nurses and allied health professionals play a central role in delivering comprehensive geriatric assessment, from screening and domain-specific evaluation to care plan coordination and monitoring. That contribution is reflected in the SIOG 2026 program.
A dedicated NAHS session covers geriatric syndromes and early indications of treatment toxicities. There is a NAHS Poster Walk, and a session on improving the delivery and impact of comprehensive geriatric assessment in clinical practice.
Optimal cancer care for older adults requires oncologists, geriatricians, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals working together, and the programme is built around that reality.
Early bird rates are open until 8 September.”
