Highlights from the 19th Asian Society for Neuro-Oncology (ASNO) Annual Meeting

The Asian Society for Neuro-Oncology is dedicated to the study and advancement of neuro-oncology in Asia. Neuro-oncology is a field of medicine that focuses on cancers of the brain, spine, and nervous system.

The ASNO brings together professionals, researchers, and clinicians who work in neuro-oncology, aiming to improve the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological cancers. It also serves as a platform for collaboration, sharing research, and educational initiatives within the Asian region.

From

ASNO was founded in 2001 with the goal of fostering collaboration among neuro-oncologists in Asia, where the incidence and challenges of treating CNS tumors may differ from other regions due to genetic, environmental, and healthcare-related factors. Since its establishment, ASNO has grown into a platform that connects neuro-oncology specialists across Asia, including researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals who are committed to advancing research, education, and clinical practice in this field.

ASNO organizes annual scientific conferences that bring together experts from across Asia and the world to share the latest research, clinical advancements, and best practices in neuro-oncology. These conferences serve as a key forum for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas between professionals in the field.
