“Today, we had the distinct honor of hosting William Dale, a world-renowned leader in geriatric oncology, at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC).
Jointly organized by the Ethiopian Society of Hematology and Oncology (ESHO), the Oncology Unit, and the Department of Family Medicine, the visit provided a wonderful opportunity to showcase our ongoing clinical, academic, and research activities.
Dr. Dale visited both departments, engaged with faculty members, fellows, residents, and students, and delivered an inspiring lecture on the care of older adults with cancer. His insights into geriatric oncology, supportive care, and patient-centered cancer management stimulated meaningful discussions and inspired all participants.
