Ekaterini Damoulianos, Research Assistant at Ingram School of Nursing – McGill University, shared on LinkedIn:
“I’m delighted to have presented at the European Academy of Paediatric Societies (EAPS) Congress 2026 in Athens, Greece.
Our study explores the ways children affected by childhood cancer prefer to receive knowledge about cancer, with the aim of co-creating knowledge dissemination.
We are still recruiting participants
If you know a child between the ages of 8 and 14, living in Canada, who has been affected by pediatric cancer (as a patient or even a peer, friend, cousin, or sibling of another child with cancer), we would greatly appreciate you sharing with them. Our questionnaire takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
A big thank you to Argerie Tsimicalis and Dr. Emily Drake for their guidance and support throughout this project, and to everyone who has participated so far.”
Emily Drake, Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) at Mount Allison University, shared Ekaterini Damoulianos’s post, adding:
“So proud of our brilliant student, Ekaterini Damoulianos, who presented at EAPS in Athens, Greece on the ways children affected by childhood cancer prefer to receive knowledge about cancer, with the aim of co-creating knowledge dissemination activities.”
