European Cancer Organisation – ECO shared on LinkedIn:
“A new European research project has just launched!
Today, the NutriCa65 consortium gathered in Copenhagen to begin a four-year initiative to improve nutritional care for older people with cancer.
Malnutrition is a significant challenge for these patients, affecting their health, quality of life and ability to cope with treatment.
The project, funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe programme and coordinated by the University of Bergen, will investigate whether early, personalised nutritional care can improve quality of life and health outcomes for people aged 65 and over diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia or pancreatic cancer.
Discover NutriCa65 and learn more about the project.
