DiCE Joined the Global Liver Cancer Community in Brussels for the ILCA Annual Conference 2026

Digestive Cancers Europe(DiCE ) shared on LinkedIn:

“Last week, DiCE joined the global liver cancer community in Brussels for the International Liver Cancer Association (ILCA) Annual Conference 2026, held from 3–5 September.

DiCE was represented by Filip Karan and Nikola Mihinjač, who attended the conference and the dedicated patient advocacy workshop, exchanging ideas with patient advocates, healthcare professionals, and other members of the liver cancer community.

Discussions focused on patient empowerment, responsible use of AI and health data, and reducing stigma surrounding liver disease and liver cancer.

It was also a great opportunity to connect with Rohini Singh Sisodia, a member of DiCE’s Patient Advisory Committee and cholangiocarcinoma survivor.

A key outcome of the advocacy meetings was the Brussels Call to Action on Liver Cancer, which sets out a shared ambition to prevent more cases, detect liver cancer earlier, improve access to care and ensure that patients remain at the heart of future innovation and decision-making.

We look forward to supporting the Call and helping translate these shared priorities into meaningful action for people affected by liver cancer.”
