Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life – an event to raise money for life-saving cancer research is currently taking place across Britain. Below you can see some posts made by the participants from the event:
“Early start volunteering at another great Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Race for Life event in Hyde Park today. Well done to all the participants and the volunteers.
A nice surprise, I was rewarded with a very nice water bottle.”

“Incredibly proud to share that this morning I completed the Pretty Muddy 5k in support of Cancer Research UK (CRUK) it was an extremely freeing experience, and knowing how much these events can raise for charity means so much.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to my race for life! Throughout the event we were notified that for Stoke-On-Trent we had raised around £90,000!
If you wish to support the ground-breaking work Cancer Research UK (CRUK) does you can still donate.”

“Day 26 out of 31.
The rain finally caught up today, but the progress doesn’t stop for the weather. Adapt, but we always keep moving forward.
Almost at the finish line now. Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Let’s get it.”

“I’ve spent the past couple of days hosting the Cancer Research UK Race for Life.
7 Pretty Muddy events on Saturday and The Race For Life 10k and 3/5k events on Sunday. What a fabulous couple of days with an amazing team and a brilliant crowd. Hull raised over £100,000 this weekend for a great cause. The first past the post in the 10k did it in 36 minutes 10 seconds. I’d struggle to do that in the car.
Always a joy to work with Simon and Sophie Hudson.”
