‘In response, CRI – which focuses on research into cancer immunotherapy – recently announced its largest-ever annual grantmaking total,’ Inside Philanthropy describes. ‘That $37 million, across 94 awards, is about 10% higher than its 2025 total. And that increase followed an even more dramatic jump in CRI funding in 2025, when the new Trump administration had begun sowing chaos in federal funding: That year’s total was about $10 million more than in 2024.”
