“What progress is being made towards the NSW Cancer Plan?
The latest update to the NSW Cancer Plan Performance Index highlights progress towards the priorities and key cancer control outcomes outlined in the NSW Cancer Plan (2022–2027).
The update provides new insights into initiatives and activities supporting progress across four priority areas:
- Achieve equitable cancer outcomes for all NSW residents.
- Reduce the risk of preventable cancers for people in NSW.
- Increase one- and five-year survival of NSW residents with cancer.
- Increase the collection and use of people’s reported experiences and outcomes to improve care and services.
