Metastatic Breast Cancer Patients Deserve Fairer Support – AstraZeneca
AstraZeneca shared a post on LinkedIn:
“People living with metastatic breast cancer need fairer supportive care
AstraZeneca joined Alison Byrnes, Federal Member for Cunningham, to discuss the importance of supportive care for Australians living with metastatic breast cancer (mBC).
The meeting was led by Brigitte Phillips, a young Wollongong mother of two living with hereditary mBC, with Lisa Caterina from Inherited Cancers Australia offering a patient advocacy perspective.
AstraZeneca remains committed to advocating for earlier diagnosis, faster access to therapies, and a fairer system for all Australians, regardless of location, diagnosis, or stage of disease.
You can access our ‘Out From the Shadows’ report into the reality of living with metastatic breast cancer here and a special supplementary BRCA chapter here.”
