Douglas Flora: Excited to bring back the best of ASCO24 to continue to build, Right Here
Douglas Flora recently shared a post on LinkedIn:
“And it wouldn’t be ASCO without the meaningful relationships, networking, and fun nights with friends old and new. For those who took the time to connect, I am ready to work together to make the world a better place until I see you all again at ASCO ’25.
Trish Boh, PACE is already securing my hotel rooms for next year. Someone, please remind me to either build in more time for breaks or jogging from the East building, or to bring my roller skates! I think I got 100k steps in by Monday afternoon.
The camaraderie and shared passion for advancing oncology make this event truly special. So many conversations with people who care so deeply about helping patients. I return to the office today exhausted but completely inspired by the work all of you are doing in your own communities, companies, and practices.
And BTW, to my teams at St. Elizabeth Healthcare and St. Elizabeth Physicians, we are absolutely on the correct path. I’ve just spent five days with the best and brightest cancer fighters in the world, and appreciate even more now how amazing our place is. Not every system has the full support of their CEO, Board, and community support that we enjoy. Excited to bring back the best of ASCO ‘24 to continue to build, RIGHT HERE.”
