Working alongside veterinary experts, AIEOP’s Supportive Therapy and Nursing Working Group has released a consensus that highlights the numerous benefits of PetTherapy in pediatric hematology oncology. Patients have reported reduced pain, stress, and anxiety, making it a powerful tool for supporting children throughout their cancer treatment.

This initiative is designed to provide families with effective, science-based interventions that ease the challenges of treatment. By integrating animal companionship into care, we are promoting brighter, more hopeful moments for patients and their loved ones.
