“Check out this article in The Lancet Oncology highlighting the recent President’s Cancer Panel meeting and our new certification program, ASCO Certified. ASCO Certified will officially launch next month at the ASCO Quality Care Symposium in Boston:
‘At the meeting, [ASCO President Dr. Lynn M Schuchter] Schuchter detailed the new pilot programme, certified by ASCO, for outpatient oncology practices that meet evidence-based oncology medical home standards for patient-centred care. This programme aims to address six of the National Cancer Plan’s eight patient care and clinical research objectives, including more effective treatments, optimising patient care and the clinical workforce, patient engagement, and making better use of—and more effectively sharing—research data.'”
