A fireside chat on the current landscape of the cancer community’s EDI efforts – ASCO
American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In case you missed it: ASCO24 featured a fireside chat between Dr. Lori Pierce, ASCO Past President and Chair of ASCO’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee, and Dr. Robert Winn, President of the Association of American Cancer Institutes and Director of VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, on the current landscape of the cancer community’s EDI efforts.
Dr. Pierce and Dr. Winn also discussed addressing barriers and proposing solutions to pave the path forward. .
