Eugene Manley Jr: A robust agenda covering the 2nd Lung Cancer Health Equity Summit
Eugene Manley Jr, Founder and CEO of STEMM and Cancer Health Equity, shared on LinkedIn:
“I have been relatively quiet lately, but I wanted to announce that STEMM & Cancer Health Equity will be putting on the 2nd Lung Cancer Health Equity Summit in Atlanta, GA Nov 18-19. The topic/theme is “Black and Latino populations navigating lung cancer: problems and solutions”.
We often talk about the problems these communities face, but rarely do we bring together stakeholders at all levels that have created solutions that decrease disparities, decrease inequities, and/or improve outcomes.
It is a robust agenda covering the spectrum from basic research through trials, community engagement, and workforce. More information will be coming out in the upcoming weeks.”
Sarah Louden, Founder and CEO at Total Health, replied:
“This is going to be a powerful conference! Eugene walks the talk! He is passionate, a change agent, and so practical about what’s possible now. Please take a look and join me in November in Atlanta!”
