Vincent Rajkumar Highlights the Prognostic Significance of Circulating Tumor DNA in Large Cell Lymphoma

Vincent Rajkumar, Oncologist at Mayo Clinic specializing in Myeloma, Amyloidosis, Macroglobulinemia, MGUS, and Related Disorders, shared on X:

“Very interesting and pertains to myeloma even more.

Dr. Mark Rocschewski Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center presenting at ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group Heme Malignancy session showed this interesting slide pertaining to large cell lymphoma.

Patients who clear circulating tumor DNA of course do well.

But what’s interesting is 25% of patients with detectable circulating tumor DNA have no recurrence.

A real plateau!

Residual ctDNA (or MRD) may not necessarily mean bad outcome.”
