“The Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL), a UICC member, has navigated many of the country’s challenges including a financial crisis, the Beirut port explosion, shortages of essential medicines, repeated displacement caused by conflict, and continuous uncertainty.
Throughout this time, the Center has remained committed to ensuring that children living with cancer can continue their treatment, and that their families do not have to face the crisis alone.
In this article, Hana Chaar Choueib, General Manager of CCCL and UICC Board Member, shares how the CCCL Board and team have adapted to these challenges for nearly seven years.
