“Targeting RAS is changing the conversation in pancreatic cancer.
At Advances and Innovations in Endoscopic Oncology and Multidisciplinary GI Cancer Care, a session explored daraxonrasib (RASONQUE) and the phase III RASolute 302 trial.
Among 500 patients with previously treated metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma, median overall survival was 13.2 months with daraxonrasib compared with 6.7 months with standard chemotherapy.
For patients and families, progress means more time – and delivering that progress requires coordinated care.
The session also emphasized proactive management of rash, mouth sores and diarrhea, along with monitoring for serious toxicities.
For the endoscopic oncology community, these findings reinforce the importance of connecting tissue acquisition, oncology treatment, symptom relief, nutrition and supportive care.
Thank you to Revolution Medicines for supporting education and multidisciplinary dialogue, and to the patients, families and investigators who make these advances possible.”
