Thiago Favano Brings Together 60+ Investigators for the ROBBIN Trial Workshop in São Paulo

Thiago Favano, Senior Director Clinical and Access Programs, Medical Education at Agenus, shared on LinkedIn:

“Great trials are built by great teams, long before the first patient is enrolled.

In São Paulo, more than 60 investigators from 12 sites in Brazil and Argentina joined us for the ROBBIN Trial Workshop. Over five hours, multidisciplinary teams presented their institutions and brought real-world cases. Together we discussed

  • clinical staging
  • surgical pathology
  • adjuvant decision-making
  • ctDNA
  • patient follow-up.

What stood out most was the engagement: surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, oncologists and research nurses learning from one another.

The shared ambition in the room was clear: to challenge the treatment paradigm in locally advanced colon cancer.

We ask our sites for high-quality patients and flawless study conduct. Our own work has to reflect the same standard. We lead by example.

Grateful to Mariana Herig, Steven O’Day, Agenus, and our partners at ODC Life Sciences.”
