Sai Yendamuri, President and CEO of RPCI Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Our work over the last five years delineating the relationship between obesity and carcinogenesis is finally out in print.
Using a combination of preclinical and clinical data, we outline how obesity impacts regulatory T cell behavior in the lungs to promote carcinogenesis. These findings have enabled us to launch new trials for lung cancer chemoprevention. Very grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with Joseph Barbi on this journey.”
