Published in Nature Biotechnology, the research introduces a powerful imaging approach that pinpoints the location of cancer-fighting antibodies within human tumors with subcellular precision. The findings identify specific stromal barriers that limit drug penetration and provide new insights that could inform the development of more effective antibody-based cancer therapies.
By helping researchers better understand why some tumors resist immunotherapy, this work lays important groundwork for designing treatments that more effectively reach and eliminate cancer cells.
