Miguel Gonzalez Velez: T-Cell Redirecting Therapies Reshape the Future of Lung Cancer Treatment

Miguel Gonzalez Velez, Medical Oncologist at John Theurer Cancer Center , University Medical Center, shared on LinkedIn:

“T-cell redirecting therapies in lung cancer review by fellow Jiahe Zhao, Ayrton Bangolo, Lili Zhang under the mentorship of Martin Gutierrez, MD at Frontiers-Immunology.

Take: Tarlatamab is the only modality with traditional FDA approval in lung cancer (DeLLphi-304: OS 13.6 vs 8.3 mo).

TIL is the most mature adoptive approach in NSCLC (64.3% ORR with pembro in ICI-naive disease).

CAR-T and TCR-T remain early proof-of-concept global CAR-T ORR still under 10% in lung cancer.

Still a lot of challenges to overcome in cellular therapies in lung cancer.”
