The Institute of Breast Diseases, Kolkata is hosting ‘Integrative Oncology in Breast Cancer: A Step Towards Decentralisation’ as part of London Global Cancer Week 2026.
Late diagnosis, treatment delays, incomplete therapy and poor access to palliative care remain the biggest barriers. This session expands integrative oncology beyond evidence-based mind–body, nutrition and lifestyle care to bring society into the cancer pathway: rural practitioners, community health workers, survivors and families.
Aligned with the WHO Global Breast Cancer Initiative, with a keynote from Dr Ravi Kannan.
Open to oncologists, primary care and rural practitioners, nurses, allied health and public health professionals.
