Konstantina Stylianou: How Evidence-based Integrative Oncology Can Impact Young Adults Facing Aggressive Cancers
Konstantina Stylianou, Head of Integrative Oncology Department at the German Oncology Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Excited to announce our latest publication in Current Psychiatry Reports!
Our paper, “Symphony of Strength: Music and Integrative Oncology in the Management of Glioblastoma,” explores how evidence-based Integrative Oncology – combining acupuncture, nutritional counseling, exercise rehabilitation, meditation, and notably music therapy – can profoundly impact young adults facing aggressive cancers like glioblastoma.
This case highlights the transformative power of music therapy to support emotional resilience, legacy-building, and improved quality of life, even in challenging disease trajectories.
Grateful to my co-authors and team for this achievement!”
