Kevin Boehm: Multimodal histopathologic models stratify HR+ early breast cancer
Kevin Boehm, Resident and Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, shared an article on LinkedIn:
“Good to see this in print. We built Orpheus, a model to infer OncoType score from H&E and pathology text reports, finding that multimodal data integration strengthens inference.
We also tuned directly on metastatic recurrence to refine TAILORx low/intermediate risk groups. The findings generalized empirically across American, Slovakian, and Italian test cohorts.
It was awesome to work with Sohrab Shah, Jakob Nikolas Kather, Omar El Nahhas, and Antonio Marra on this.
Orpheus code is open source for any academic applications.”
