”I am pleased that the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation is partnering with Partners Seeking a Cure (PSC) and the University of North Carolina on this important PCORI–funded initiative to strengthen patient engagement in research focused on cholangiocarcinoma surveillance in people living with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC).
Cholangiocarcinoma remains one of the most serious complications of PSC, and there are still critical questions about how we can improve earlier detection and patient outcomes. The answers to those questions will come from meaningful collaboration between patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers.
This initiative is an important step toward building that collaborative foundation.”
