Jennifer Douglas, Writer and DCIS Breast Cancer Patient Advocate, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Brain fog after breast cancer is real, and I refused to just wait it out. Reading in short bursts. French class every week. Writing my book. Small cognitive challenges, gradually increased, the same way we rebuild our bodies with exercise after treatment.
After a few months I could converse in class again. The fog had begun to lift.
If your thinking feels fuzzy after treatment, talk with your medical team, and be patient with yourself. This is a process. Save this post for the day you need it.”
