Javier Hernández Losa, Director of Molecular Biology Laboratory, Pathology Department at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m proud to share our recently published article.
This review brings together the current evidence on gene fusion testing in NSCLC while also providing practical recommendations for the interpretation of NGS-based fusion results-an area that can often be challenging due to the complexity of the data and their clinical implications.
I hope this work will be a useful resource for molecular biologists, laboratory professionals, and clinicians involved in the molecular diagnosis and management of patients with NSCLC.
A sincere thank you to all my co-authors for their expertise, collaboration, and commitment throughout this project. It has been a privilege to work alongside such an outstanding group of colleagues. A very special thanks to Beatriz Bellosillo and Javier Freire Salinas for your support, leadership, and invaluable contributions, which were instrumental in making this work possible.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts and discussing how we can continue improving the implementation and interpretation of NGS-based fusion testing in routine clinical practice.”
