“Our team is in Seoul this week for the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer’s World Conference on Lung Cancer, and I am proud of the research Caris Life Sciences and the Caris Precision Oncology Alliance are contributing to the program.
We have seven studies in the program, including two mini oral presentations and a poster tour. The research examines how molecular and immune biomarkers shape treatment response, what transcriptomic subtypes can reveal about mesothelioma, and what large-scale germline analyses tell us about inherited cancer risk.
Several of these studies draw on tens of thousands of profiled lung cancer samples. That scale is possible because alliance members and researchers work together to answer questions no single institution could address alone.
These findings are still being examined, discussed, and challenged, which is how science advances. Creating that kind of open, collaborative environment is exactly why the alliance exists.
