“At ESMO 2026 in Madrid.
We at Nexomic presented our abstract on DeepOmic, a computational foundation model for solid tumors and biliary to identify the origin of the unknown primary.
These cancers of unknown primary are about 5% of cases, and the platform identifies their origin with up to 85% accuracy through the deep multi-omic data.
This approach helps treating team to choose the right treatment for each patient.

About DeepOmic
DeepOmic is a computational, AI-driven multi-omic foundation model developed by Nexomic, specifically designed for high-dimensional biological data integration and precision oncology applications.
Instead of relying on a single data modality, the model unifies complex biological layers, including genomic mutations, transcriptomic RNA expression profiles, and tissue microenvironment metrics.
Tracing tumor origin is paramount, particularly because Cancers of Unknown Primary account for roughly one out of every twenty clinical cases and carry a poor prognosis without targeted intervention.
By accurately pinpointing anatomical origins and uncovering key molecular signatures, DeepOmic supports targeted therapy selection, improves patient stratification for clinical trials, and aids in predicting therapeutic response and resistance.
Ultimately, the platform provides deeper insights into tumor biology to guide personalized medical decisions across both clinical practice and drug development initiatives.”
