European Cancer Organisation shared on LinkedIn:
“How can European countries improve the lives of women affected by cancer?
On 3 November, the European Cancer Organisation participated in the policy dialogue ‘Improving the Lives of Women with Gynaecological Cancers’, held in Athens, Greece.
Organised by the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, ELLOK, and ECHoS, the event brought together stakeholders to explore opportunities for improving cancer policies and care.
As part of the discussions, ECO presented its Women and Cancer Policy Index, highlighting the importance of evidence-informed policymaking to address inequalities and improve outcomes for women affected by cancer across Europe, zooming in on the Greek case.
Thank you to the organisers and participants for an engaging exchange!
