Eduardo Bruera: Pilot RCT on Remote Monitoring Plus Palliative Care for Advanced Cancer Patients

“In a pilot RCT of 100 advanced cancer patients on phase I therapies, adding weekly remote monitoring to monthly palliative care visits improved symptoms and quality of life versus SPC alone. Benefits were seen at 2 weeks and sustained at 12 weeks, warranting larger trials.”
