“An important study from Shandong, China, by Xiaolong Wang et al., reinforces what has already been seen in locally advanced NSCLC: omitting the CTV reduces side effects and may actually improve overall survival in limited – stage small – cell lung cancer (LS-SCLC).
Their analyses also demonstrate a noticeable PFS benefit when omitting the CTV for pts also receiving immunotherapy.
