David Gandara and Edgardo Santos: Not All High-Risk Factors Are Created Equal in EGFR-Mutated NSCLC

David Gandara, Professor at UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared post by Edgardo Santos’s, FLASCO President at Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, on X, adding:

“High risk factors in EGFR-mutated NSCLC. Not so fast, my friend!

Just as important, remember that not all high risk factors are created equal. Big difference between patient with extensive liver Mets vs single bone met or TF present <1%. But all ‘high risk’!”

Quoting Edgardo Santos:

“Remember, 90% of pts with ‘senstive’ EGFRm NSCLC have at least 1 ‘poor’ risk factor.”
