“Delighted to share the publication of the final results from the endocrine-sensitive cohort of the French prospective PALOMAGE study in The Breast.
This real-world study confirms the feasibility, good tolerability, and maintenance of quality of life with 1st-line palbociclib plus endocrine therapy in women aged 70 years and older with HR+/HER2- advanced breast cancer. It also highlights the value of the G8 screening tool in identifying vulnerable patients who may benefit from further geriatric assessment.
Another step forward toward a more inclusive oncology for older adults, who remain underrepresented in clinical trials.”
