For our next-gen molecule, our medicinal chemists designed a very robust structure for ALK inhibition and brain penetration, resulting in approvals in countries around the world. The unprecedented seven-year follow-up results from the CROWN study are now published.
As stated in the accompanying Editorial by Rohatgi and Govindan:
‘CROWN may indeed herald the dawn of a new era in which research is no longer focused solely on disease control but on preventing the emergence of drug resistance and limiting tumor evolution-both critical steps toward the ultimate goal of curing metastatic ALK positive NSCLC.’
