Chinmay Jani: Evolving Role of Liquid Biopsy Across the Lung Cancer Continuum

Chinmay Jani, Chief Fellow of Hematology and Oncology at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“In our recent review published, we discuss the evolving role of liquid biopsy across the lung cancer continuum – from early detection (screening and diagnosis), minimal residual disease assessment, treatment monitoring, and resistance profiling.

The review highlights emerging approaches, including ctRNA, methylation, and fragmentomics, along with ongoing clinical trials and active research shaping the future of the field.

We also discuss how liquid biopsy can provide deeper insights into tumor biology and help us understand lung cancer even better.”
