“We want to get a full picture of the European Psychosocial Services and need your help for this!
Everybody affected by childhood cancer should have access to high – quality psychosocial care and support, no matter where they live in Europe
Impacteu is a project co – funded by the European Union and coordinated by SIOP Europe, the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE). It aims to improve psychosocial care and support for children and adolescents with cancer and their families by developing common standards, strengthening professional training and identifying gaps in existing services.
One important part of the project is mapping psychosocial services inside and outside the hospital across Europe. Mapping can help us understand the status – quo and improve services in the future.
As part of this work, Impact – EU is collaborating with On – come to map psychosocial services within paediatric oncology hospitals
On – come is working to strengthen psychosocial, neuropsychological and nutritional care for children, adolescents and young adults with cancer.
Do you work in a paediatric oncology clinic?
Please take part in our survey or forward this post to a paediatric clinic in your country or region. Help us build a clearer picture of psychosocial care across Europe
